Among the various international activities conducted, for the first time IZI will develop a project in Armenia.<\/p>\n
In fact, we have started a new contract for the execution of the International Visitor Survey, the service will collect and analyse up-to-date information on tourist flows and levels of spending in and out of the country, particularly with regard to certain target markets. The aim of the service is to guide national decisions and strategies to increase the national tourism sector.<\/p>\n
The project will last 17 months, during which a team of surveyors will carry out the survey at border points that constitute the main transit points for visitors. The IZI team, consisting of Marco Palmini, head of the international area, and Luca Savo, project manager in the field of statistical surveys, participated with representatives of the local Armenian company AM Consulting, partner of the consortium, in the project kick-off session, holding a series of meetings and presentations with key stakeholders. The details of the activity plan were defined and the main survey instruments, such as the questionnaires to be administered, were finalised. Upon completion of the comparison and validation phase, the survey activities will start in January 2023 and end in December of the same year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
