If institutions want to bridge the gap, they need to talk to young people

A few days later, we can finally share the videos of the interventions conducted during the PA Forum at the presentation of the survey “Knowledge of European funds, for a better use of cohesion policy resources in Italy.”

You will have a chance to get into the substance of the research, understand the levels investigated, both from a quantitative point of view aimed at citizens, and qualitative point of view aimed at insiders, but also understand the level of knowledge and participation in these issues by citizens on the web, particularly on social networks. The topic of cohesion policies remains difficult for the majority of the Italian population to understand, but those who address the topic on social media, mostly the 25-34 age group, as the analysis shows, are the target audience for tomorrow’s public communication. If you want to avoid a communication gap between institutions and the citizenry, you have to start here, talking to them.
