With a gap of about 6 points, the favourite among the candidates for the Lazio elections is still Francesco Rocca, with 41.5%. He actually drops since the last survey when he was at 42.6%. Alessio D’Amato grows, rising from 34.8% to 36.3%, thus reducing the gap with the candidate of the centre-right coalition. From 18.3% to 18.9% the candidate for the 5 Star Movement and Progressive Pole. What changes compared to the previous poll?
The parties of the centre-right coalition are losing consensus. Fratelli d’Italia, among all, goes from 32.4% to 29.7%, while slightly Forza Italia, which goes from 5.7% to 6.8%; good also for the League in Lazio, which goes from 4.1% to 5.2%. Is it the excise effect?
According to some commentators, yes: the government lost consensus in the days when the excise debate raged and Fratelli d’Italia paid the bill immediately, since the two government allies were not affected by the drop.
