IZI was awarded the European Union contract for technical assistance to support the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) in Turkey. IZI is part of a consortium led by PANGEA scrl, the execution of the activities will start in March 2020. The project aims to increase the use and functionality of the FADN system and the quality of agricultural data in the country by supporting central and provincial administrative staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, non-governmental organisations and farmers. The contract will last 18 months; IZI will be involved in the training and skills development of local staff and in the development of data collection methodologies, bringing experience gained in the implementation of FADN activities in Italy.
