IZI signed the contract to carry out the final impact evaluation of the Italian Cooperation intervention, which granted a Line of Credit in favor of small and medium-sized enterprises in Tunisia. The intervention, financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aimed to contribute to economic development and the growth of employment levels in the country by supporting the ability of Tunisian SMEs to access credit.
The evaluation will be conducted by a team of Tunisian and Italian experts and will use a counterfactual methodology for the analysis of the program’s contribution in the context of the results achieved. IZI will employ an in-house team of expert evaluators, and will provide resources and tools for data collection and analysis, as part of the increasing use of advanced technologies for evaluation processes.
