Marco Palmini, head of IZI’s international area, and Luca Savo, project manager and head of numerous statistical surveys for IZI, in conversation with Armenia’s Minister of the Economy Vahan Kerobyan as part of the activities for the launch of the country’s statistical survey on tourism, ‘International Visitor Survey’.
Armenia is experiencing a phase of intense development, under the leadership of a young and prepared ruling class, and has very interesting growth prospects. The International Visitor Survey is our first project in Armenia, but it is a confirmation of a well-established field of research in IZI, concerning the analysis of tourist flows, in order to guide national policies for the sector.
The meeting was very cordial and productive, and allowed us to confirm our willingness to support the country’s growth and development process.
