The initiative to raise the speed limit for cars in Bologna to 30 km/h has been one of the main topics of discussion in Italy for a few weeks now. But how have residents taken it?
According to our latest survey, also published on HuffPost, almost 66 percent of residents agree little or not at all with the initiative and only 23 percent are very much in favor. Council Lepore’s decision has also affected the way Bolognese people get around. 22% have decreased car use in favor of public transportation, while 14% say they use bikes and scooters more.
