A game still open: third survey on candidates for the regional elections in Lombardy

And yet it moves.

There is still a four-point gap between Majorino and Fontana, with slight increases in consensus for both. The Third Pole experiment, on the other hand, does not seem to affect the two coalitions, the centre-left and the centre-right.

This is the third poll on the candidates for the regional elections in Lombardy. Anticipated by a Fanpage article, the survey still indicates a four-point gap between the two candidates Attilio Fontana, in the lead, and Pierfrancesco Majorino, who comes in second; while for the first time the consensus for Letizia Moratti drops, from 14.8% in the last survey to 17.8%.

Compared to the first poll and the second poll, Majorino grew slightly, 39.8%, and came close to the favourite Fontana, who, however, came in at 43.9%; a different result from the 45% recorded at the beginning of the election campaign. What seems to be changing, beyond the physiology of the fluctuations of these days, is the tally on the individual parties: Fratelli d’Italia loses 1.4%, going from 27.1% to 25.7%; the Partito Democratico instead recovers almost a point and a half, 1.4%, going from 17.5% to 18.9%. The most significant growth concerns the Movimento 5Stelle, which decided to support the centre-left candidate Majorino and went from 8.3% to 10.2%.
